Training Services

Training Needs Assessment

A WDI Career Planner will sit down with you, one-on-one, and help you take stock of your skills and goals. Along with some aptitude and interest surveys, the Planner will identify your most marketable skills and help you select a career path or educational program that will work for you.

Basic Skills Updating

WDI will assist you in improving reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills.

Classroom Training Assistance

If you need more technical training, WDI can help with that, too. We’ll work with local educational institutions to get you into training; we can also provide financial assistance to help pay for it. Classroom tutoring and Career Planning are also available to help you succeed.

On-the-Job Training

On-the-job training can be one of the most rewarding job placement services we offer. Through our on-the-job training program, you can acquire new work skills while receiving a wage. Call us or stop by a local WDI office to learn more!
