Workforce Development Inc. Subcommittees

At Workforce Development, Inc. (WDI), subcommittees of the Workforce Development Board provide a space for deeper discussion and action on specific workforce issues. We have a variety of subcommittees that meet regularly to address the needs of our communities, and those subcommittees evolve as priorities shift. Whether the focus is on youth services, employer engagement, equity, or emerging industry trends, subcommittees allow board members and community partners to bring their expertise together, shape recommendations, and ensure our strategies remain responsive and effective.

MaxAbility – Growing Your Workforce

Founded in 2014, MaxAbility Taskforce is a volunteer collaboration of local professionals working to promote disability-inclusive workplace cultures. We offer practical support and guidance to help employers hire, retain, and empower individuals with disabilities. We also collaborate with local organizations to put on important events that raise awareness or provide adaptive opportunities, such as our annual Reverse Job Fair.
